Need help with K98 A

Hi guys. I just could pick up this K98 A produced from Erfurt 1917 possibly reissued 1920. Any more informations would be helpful. Thanks in advance

It is 1920 reissue

Its a nice gun. Regardless of some mismatch parts. When they are this old, its hard to find an all matching and if you do, they cost a fortune. I have a 1917 Spandau that has a mismatch bolt, but still a nice rifle.

It is not a 1920 reissue. The 1920 date means that the rifle has been accepted as conforming to the 1920 Regulation "Law on the Disarmament of the People". This law was enacted in order to comply with the disarmament privisions of the Versailles Treaty. The mark is commonly found on rifles taken into service with the police and customs organisations of the German post war Government.
