There were other guys who did the same thing as Atwood but in different areas of militaria, medals, badges and more.
There is only one way to tell which SAs he made, mostly RZMs. For whatever reason the ring on the scabbard is not joined, just bent into place. So if you have a RZM like this, that is one of his daggers. All made during the period but assembled after the war. Are they fake? No! What do you think of them now? I don't know how to answer that so I wont. He did a lot of good for the hobby, I do feel bad about those 5K daggers! I do wonder if he truly knew? At those times daggers and all was not as well understood as today. I look at items I had 20+ years ago and am shocked I though they were real and so did everyone else!
