Luft Sword Markings - help please

I recently acquired this Luft Officer’s Sword. (Eickhorn). The underside of the cross guard is marked “HK/22”. Does anyone know what unit that might represent? Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it could be a nice sword ( except I can’t really see it as the photos are dark) can’t really see the HK mark it’s upside down. Rob

Thanks Robb. It is a nicce sword (IMO) and I will take better photos and post them this evening or tomorrow morning.

I should have mentioned that it’s also marked “HK / 22” on the scabbard throat:

Nice that is marked on the throat . I have no idea what HK is apart from Heinkel? Could be an Air Force base . Rob

It could be Horst Kommandatur/ sword-weapon nr.22, question is but for what for unit and where as location is there not. b.r.Andy
