Carl Julius scabbard

Hi

What do you think about this dagger and most specifically the scabbard as the fittings are not in the same orientation:the upper the leafs are toward the right, the lower toward the left?

This dagger looks good to me. I've owned several Carl Julius Krebs Luft daggers & found them with both WKC & generic WKC fittings.

I agree it looks OK but I m concerned about the scabbard fittings upside down as I have never seen this before.

No prob with you?

They do appear to be upside down on the scabbard body. Perhaps they became loose and someone refitted them incorrectly or maybe they were that way originally. Don't think we'll ever know the truth, from the pics anyway.
