    SA Dagger verification

    Hi everyone,

I have the option of buying an SA dagger from another collector in my environment. I have very good knowledge of WW2 history buy since I'm quite new to collecting militaria, especially German dagger (I've read this are very delicate objects) I would like to ask the opinion of the more experienced collectors here on the forum.

So, what do you guys think of this piece (real, assembled, repro, taxation...?)

    Thanks for reading this post

    Grtz,

    Vic

The staining on the blade does not look natural to me, more like it's been wiped with bleach or something like that.

The dagger is a poor reproduction, the eagle is bad, the grip is bad, the crossguards are bad, the Signet is Bad, the scabbard is bad, it should not have a buffer and the blade does not look right.
You will be able to find a better dagger on this site for a good price.

        A total reproduction.

I agree with the opinions already voiced here: This appears to me to be a reproduction and I would not want it for my collection. Genuine SA Standard Service Daggers are easily available and at reasonable prices...reasonable, given that these are artifacts.

Best of luck, Vic, and WELCOME AMONG US!
