Sword Knot

picked this up over the weekend thinking it was a army sword knot similar but not like all my others is it fire police as it has a carmine red filler at the base of the acorn. The knot is the 3 strand one in the picture and 2 strand one is a normal army knot

The knot with carmine dot is for officer grade Feuerwehr personnel. The knot for sword or bayonet are identical, except for the size of the bulb & width of the strap. An uncommon knot & nice pick up.
