Ernst Pack & Sohne Luft Dagger

I got my first...1st model Luft dagger today. Not the greatest in the world, but far from the worst. I know the chain is the wrong chain (I think...), but the price was impossible to pass up. I like the patina on this piece also.
Questions, comments, concerns???

Also...can somebody tell me why early E. Pack maker marks don't have "Siegfried"? Was Siegfried a company that bought E. Pack?
