I have my eye on this and was wondering what everyone thought. As well as what you'd pay.

Looks like a good one, though there are condition issues here: The blade has been polished to within an inch of its life and has lost all of its accenting, and the scabbard is probably a re-paint -- one never sees scabbards with that like-new anodizing. The ebony grip is chipped like most that are found today, but still OK.

I never do price estimates; sorry.

I would not be surprised if that blade was covered in rust and then polished, the entire dagger was probably trashed at one time. So, in this case nice to see something saved but...... now it comes down to price. I would buy it for 1000 and ask 1400 and take 1200. Not worth sitting on for a high price, I would want it to go away as quickly as possible

Better Pics of the reverse of the whole blade with the "maker mark" would be helpful, from the current pics it looks to stand a chance of a ground 'RHOM" blade??? Just my 2cents,,,,,
