Unusual WKC logo Army Dagger

Hello chaps this looks like a late war type 4 WKC to me , However I cant find another logo where the helmet visor is all black is this ok? Thanks Rob

The black shading on visor and on left shoulder is something new... although the maker mark outlines and lettering look real.

Some kind of artificial darkening to make the maker mark stand out?

IMO TR made WKC Solingen logo with the mistake made during etching logo on blade. But I do not prefer to se Carl Eickhorn 2. type scabbard bands on WKC Heer dagger.

I've never seen a WKC etch "fail" like that. I don't like the comb on the helmet either. I suspect mark was added to blade post war.
