    Ss nco bayonet knot

I have this knot on hand.
It has a closure piece for tightening the left over tassle(?) left after securing it to the bayonet.
Actually, I would be interested in opinions as to it's authenticity.
    I just picked it up.
It wasn't cheap but not overly expensive.
Let me know what you think.
    Thanx,
    Tim

The shape of the white borderlines on the strap are the key here .
Also , the weave of the strap itself should be much tighter , like a cufftitle ..

With all due respect - I've never seen anything like the one the started this thread.

The woven SS runes and circle are not what I've seen nor owned in the past.
            Regards, Steve

              SS Knot

I am with Steve on this one. Never seen one like the starting knot. I also think it is for an NCO Sword also.

Thanx for help. Had a feeling from the borderline pattern on the strap that it wasn't good.
Returning it from whence it came.

Ive seen one like this, its tossed in my "repro" box! It was a walk in at a show about 10 years ago and i took the bait....foolishly since i dont collect daggers or their Accoutrements. At the time and after the fact..i discovered these could be purchased on ebay for 40$. So yes its a reproduction and if you can get your money back thats a good choice.
