    ww1 imperial bayonet

Hello, hope this is the right section for this question, I have a ww1 german sawback butcher blade bayonet, dated 1915 made by V.C. Schilling Suhl.

Nothing special so far, now stamped on the guard is a flak unit marking Im assuming? I have been looking for info on the markings -found nothing. Now did the Germans have flak units in ww1?? Or was it stamped and used in ww2.

The markings ( Flak Z. 169. 19.) the stamping are at least 70 plus years old.
Thanks for any info, been trying to figure this out, any attempts always point to ww2 but still no unit history . DB

As sawbacks were prohibited post 1917, it should be then a WW1 unit stamp, You should add pictures. b.r.Andy
