A good job on the followup research. The gear tooth marking something that would not have been seen on an original period sword, it makes perfect sense in the post WW II period. FP

Thanks for all the help and comments. You guys know how to research. Pretty sure at this point that it is a Toledo re-make but a very good one. Still not real sure on age, tome the Toledo swords I see from 20th century have much more modern makers marks.
