DLV 55cm Adolf Braun Berlin dagger

Hello! Can someone please help me with this dagger? I have never seen original one so i don't know what to look at. The pictures are poor quality, and i'm trying to get better ones. Dagger is far away from me, so before i go personaly, i would like to know your opinions.
Dagger measures 55cm with the scabbard, and has a stamp on the blade "Adolf Braun Berlin" which is poorly seen in the picture.

That is a very hard to find 55cm DLV, most are cut down to the length of the 1st model luft. See the link for info.

Should it be 55cm with the scabbard or dagger only? This one is 55cm with scabbard.

It should be 55cm with the scabbard.

Picture quality is not good but from what I see, the dagger looks to be a period DLV 55cm by Adolf Braun. Better pictures would help confirm but I think this one is worth a long drive to see in person.

Two things that look unusual, the scabbard chape (which appears untarnished where the rest of the fitting is tarnished) & the color of the grip leather in one picture, but that could simply be the light.

There are superfakes of this model dagger however they do not have this mark or specific attributes. I agree with Russ that the dagger should measure 55cm when in the scabbard. I believe Eickhorn examples are 1mm or 2mm shorter.

Looks like the one I found out of the woodwork about 30 years ago. Direct from the veteran and without grip wire. Also mine had a little scabbard leather damage to the side edge where this one does also. Everything on this one looks correct to me.

Looks great next to your short flyers knife/dagger.
