Polizei clamshell bayonet opinions

What do you feel about this police bayonet and mainly the grip eagle ?

The eagle doesn't look as if its been handled much. I would have expected a lot more wear on the high points as the normal way of walking around was with your hand on the hilt.

The grip emblem is not correct for a Polizei Seitengewehr, this style emblem is typical for a Polizei degen. These emblems are occasionally available loose so my suspicion is it was added to improve a denazified bayonet.

Aside from the emblem, the bayonet is a nice looking example. The hilt is an Alcoso product but I've observed this before on some Clemen & Jung Polizei bayonets.

The cast hilt looks little strange, i dont like the fitting of horngrips, even the color of them, the different eagle was fitted deep into the right grip, glued? for better expertise should be visible detailed pictures of handle and marking.How long is the blade?b.r.Andy
