The scabbard is a type A.

The dagger initially did not come out the factory in this scabbard.
It could have been an upgrade but then you normally would not expect a type A scabbard. Offcourse all is possible. Possible is also that the dagger was placed in the scabbard post war. Who will tell?

I dont like the SS roundel in the grip. Imo it is fake and a good chance that the grip is fake aswell.

Do I see two different blades in those pictures?

TJ sold a lot of mint Klaas blades over the years. This same trade mark

Which is the blade, one looks OK, the other is badly damaged by over-polishing?
