    Help with bayonet ID

    Hi,
Not my area of expertise but I think that the big one is WW1 German and the little one is WW2 Japanese.
I’ve a friend who may be interested in selling these, they were her dad’s - I just would like to help her ID them so she knows exactly what she’s got.
    Thanks all!

I do not have these in hand, but I don’t recall any blade markings.
The Japanese one has a serial number at the bottom .

Thanks Andy, and yes it’s definitely dress - as sharp as a hammer...but it sure is pointy!

I hope that is not sharpened as dress bayonets should be normally blunt. b.r.Andy
