Can you guys help me with a specific ID of the modal on this Imperial German heavy artillery sword. Also if you guys could help with the reg marks on the scabbard and handle?

In the absence of my reference books I will suggest 12th Reserve Foot Artillery Regiment

It's a Saxon pattern artillery saber that appears to have been issued to a Reserve Saxon Fussartillerie-Regiment (Foot Artillery) as was suggested. FP

These are the cypher's on the blade. Shouldn't there be an Fa if Saxon?

No, I think that it's correct the way it is with an 1879 date on the blade. Albert was the monarch from 1873 - 1902 so an "A" would be proper. FP
