        Stefan,

Your straight sword is the US so-called 1860 Staff & Field Officer Sword. This particular sword was worn between 1872 and 1902 since it has the nickeled scabbard with three rings and diamond blade. It is a US Army sword and not a Navy sword though. It appears to be in nice shape and perfectly original from the photos.

The lion head pommel sword appears to be a British Naval sword from what I can see of it. I hope this helps.

I agree completely on the 1st sword; a nice 1860 Staff and Field Officer's sword. M.C. Lilley made swords starting in 1872 and continuing until the mid 20th century. I can't see enough of the other sword to know for certain but it appears to be a British Naval Officer's sword.

            Hi,

            thanks for your help.

Do you also have an idea about the price, because I will sell them?

            regards

            Stefan
