I am in the process of acquiring this 1936 chained dagger. I would be grateful for your inputs on the item. Just to put my mind at rest...

Poor or really poor quality images are often the sign of a faker trying to camouflage his substandard postwar workmanship. Which from the images seems to be the case here.

PS: If you are still interested ask for some really good closeups of the complete dagger with some extra ones of the chainset. FP

Avoid. Chain is fake which probably means dagger is too. More pictures needed.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the chain - hence the posting. Thought the blade looked too immaculate, and the eagle a very bright aluminium type. Too good to be true - at the price? Thanks for all your comments... appreciated! Seller doesn't want to send anymore pictures as I said I was posting on here.
