This dagger will eventually appear on E-Stand as I wind down my collection. Of course I can't be sure, but I believe this just might be the best remaining blade from maker Pet. Dan Krebs. I've never seen one come close. Pet. Dan Krebs made relatively few SA's and is better known for the quality early SS degens produced by this maker. All of the original lacquer is still present on the grip. The rear upper crossguard is personalized with the owner's name. I have to believe this dagger survived the war in a sock drawer for 60 years or so before I acquired it. Enjoy!
