I'n no expert on Damascus blades... IMO this one does not look to be original. I have attached an Eickhorn SS Damascus blade as a reference. Please wait for some of the experts to comment.

This blade is listed for sale on Ebay, as a WW2 German blade (not post war), bidding is over $600 now.

I don't believe either blade shown here is period, the second is certainly not an Eickhorn product IMO.
