Looks like a piece of wood has been used to repair one of the grip inserts?

I would think the scabbard has been repainted also.

Recently listed on Eban for a $500, a buy it now if I'm correctly remembering. Reverse grip has been repaired with wood for stag, overall condition is less than remarkable. I would save my money & find a nicely conditioned example.
