IMO, Panther head sword.
Still with a fair bit of gilding left.

your sword is a Eickhorn # 1695 panther head. Not as common as some of the other Eickhorn swords, but by no means rare either. It's always been my belief that they intended (Eickhorn) to name this one as part of the Field Marshall series but due the war just never got around to it. nice pick up.
