    Ss dagger numbered ex rohm ?

    Hi Guys can i get your opinion on this piece please finally a good base for research any red flags in here ? I know its not mint but at least good start

    These dagger numbers (If they are original.) belongs to SS Sturmbannfuhrer Reinhard Wolf.
    Dagger scabbard is repainted.

      thank you - thats my main point do more experienced collectors see any red flags in here ? engraving ? I know recipment name and history. I am sking for help in dagger it self.... got burnt so many times recently...

        Scabbard was repainted but could have been done during the period.
        This gripeagle doesnt originally belongs to this grip.
        You can see clearly the outlining of the original one.
        After this eagle was placed, they used some filler to close the gaps.
        Its also very clear that this eagle is totally out of center.

            Good Eye krikke.

            Tell-tale pry marks on edge are evident of removal of original eagle.

              I've seen this dagger a few years back. Does it comes out of a source from poland ?

                yep my dagger ,

                dagger pulled from the woods..
                eagle removed and inserted again and filled .. not by me

                scabbard period painted as usually found on these early ex Rohm daggers
