    SS Dagger (Real or fake?)

    Hi guys,

Usual business here, pretty sure it’s a fake for a few reasons.. can you confirm it please?

    Thank you

Photos are too small to get clarity; can you post enlargements?

Also, WELCOME AMONG US! It's good to have you here!

Dagger has a buffer. That is not very promising.
Also very bad fittings. Either way a dagger that you don't want.

Even given that the photos are not high resolution - red flags are popping up in multiple areas. So it looks like the thread starter suspicions about it being a fake were correct. FP

I agree with the other comments made here. Hope you haven't invested a lot of money in this piece...and SS daggers usually command serious money -- and rightly so when they're legitimate -- but this one should stay where you found it.

But never fear. There are lots of good ones out there! Cheers,

                Br. James

The WF did throw me to be fair, only seen on SA daggers. Could it just be a dagger that’s had a tough time and had its bits swapped out? Or just a fake? The wear on the handle looks genuine

There's a point when there isn't any real difference between a Frankenstein -- a dagger made up of parts from a number of other daggers -- or a fake piece. Neither one is worth anything and would have no place in a serious collection.
