It is unfortunately a fake.

If this dagger was sold to you as a Period Original, I would ask for a refund.

AKA “3rd generation copy”. Those started showing up a few years ago (around 2012 or 2014) I don’t believe that any of the parts are original. Possibly made in Poland or Czech Republic.

That is a terrible fake Böker.
Please compare this thing with a real Böker and you will understand that there is no need for explenation…!
