    Bayonet Portepee ID - Help Please

    I am not familiar with the color combination of the portepee on this dress bayonet.
    Any help identifying it would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

      Great chart Schlange,

      This knot color configuration is for the 18th company Infantry division. To be safe, I'd black light it for fun. Ball threads show hardly any wear as opposed to the strap IMHO. Nice looking accouterment just the same!!
