    Hi guys!
    I just came across some daggers, and have some questions.
    What is that number on the dlv dagger scabbard, and is that army dagger genue?
    What a pity that someone did that to this dlv dagger

    That's a unit marking on the dlv scabbard. The army looks good, aluminum crossguard. Does it have a maker marking on the blade?

      It is only marked on the blade tang, with a cross.

        I agree with Doug, the marking on the DLV scabbard fitting is legit. Are there any corresponding marks on the underside of the DLV crossguard?

            Thanks a lot! There are no other markings, besides "k" marking on the side of crossguard.

              As for the army dagger, I don't like to see crossguards and pommels of different materials on the same dagger. Definitely not textbook and alludes to a parts dagger.
              Blade looks like it may have been scrubbed some, but the pictures are not great. Large chip on lower grip.
              The army would not warrant a second look from me if I saw it from a distance at a show.
