Original late plated (1941) SA dagger with early hanger 'snout nose' nickel silver clip.
          IMO.
          Blade is in poor condition.

Concur with Serge, also the grip eagle looks like nickel silver, if so probably use of left over stock.

              Hello,

The grip eagle might be aluminum also. It looks like it has lost considerable detail to wear and tear over the years.

Unfortunately, the blade has seen better days.

              Regards,
              Tim

The problem is the old owner, the owner lived near the beach and did not protect this piece well, in about 3 years has passed this state that you see in the photo, which shows the thread. It was exposed in the box that you see and this part was exposed to the climate of the beach, the other part that is covered, you can see that it is perfect.

And this is the result of spending about 3 years exposed in a house near the beach

And this is the Party that was covered by the Box and was not exposed to the weather

Makes sense and shows why we should all be careful with how we display our collectibles. A shame though, and as many before me said a real dagger...
