    HACO SA dagger

I just picked up this SA dagger by HACO with three piece hanger, wanted to hear some thoughts of it before going to E-Stand. It looks like it's uncleaned and has a nice unmessed with look.
    Thanks in advance

Looks fine to me, and has the group mark "B" that is most often attributed to Haco.

That is a very nice, un cleaned Haco SA dagger!

The grip is so typical that you can tell it is a Haco without taking the blade out of its scabbard.

If you would take it apart, it would reveal its unique Haco number on different parts (grip wood and guards) . But you only should do that if you can turn the pommel screw with your fingers: if it is too tight, just leave it as is : never use any tool on these soft screws!

              Best regards,

              Victorman

A very nice, early piece from SA-Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg. Not a rare piece -- HACO is rated at #5 on the McSARR chart -- but in collectible condition, and with a seldom-seen three-piece hanger.

                Cheers,

                Br. James

I would strongly recommend NOT to take it apart. This dagger looks untouched and unmessed and that’s what most collectors are looking for Opening doesn’t help or make it better, just worse!

I like to see honest daggers like this example on estand.
