I just got this german WWI trench dagger (Grabendolch); its complete with scabbard and leather. No stamps or maker marks. Any opinions about the maker? I think this type of trench dagger is one of the common ones but still rare. However I think I don't want to know the history of this particular item...

Hi Jens, I cannot really tell you anything about your trench knife. There were a great many different makers of these and they are a study in there own right. But it looks fine to me
Here is mine, which is missing the leather retaining loop. The original owners name is sratched onto the grip.
