    new income from this morning sgx 45 unfortunate not matching with scabbard but a rare bird . original phospath and not edged all as it made in 1945

          Nice one rare bird,non touched in condition, the scabbard was reworked as it should pre 1940. some tempering of the body.b.r.Andy

            A great find and thanks for sharing.As you are well aware 84/98 bayonets manufactured in 1945 are very rare. Might I ask where the bayonet was discovered? In your native Luxembourg or perhaps another nation? Thank you in advance ....

              thanks for coments . since years i look all bayo what i see for finding one manufactured in 1945 and last sunday the hunt ending in france when i pull out
              the bayo from scabard first i see the rivets also a good sign and second the phosphating at last stamping from manufacturer SGX and 45 BINGO NOW LOOKING FOR A MATCHING EXAMPLE also the hunt is going in step 2 .
