Hi, it´s an German, WWI, Armeedolch.

    Maker, (probably), Ernst Busch, Solingen.

It seems, that one of the grip plates was replaced.

    Best regards,
    R.

Appreciate the info, is it worth any more than I paid which was $50?

This trench knife is not a modified E. Busch knife, it is a original specimen described in the nr. 21 page of the well know Gordon A. Hughes book, I have one in my collection, I will post it as soon as possible

This is my knife next to a E. Busch one, for comparison

I´m pretty sure, the Armeedolch, shown by K31Swiss, is manufactured by Ernst Busch, also, your´s !

You can find such pattern Armeedolch, (shown by K31Swiss here, in this thread), maker marked with Ernst Busch, in the books, written by Christian Méry and Eugen von Halasz.

BTW, there´s an similar-looking Armeedolch, manufactured by Clemen & Jung.

                            Best regards,
                            R.
