Army / Heer scabbard bands question

Hello, question for the forum.

Were Army dagger scabbard bands attached to their scabbards in any way? Were they glued, soldered, etc?

Or .... were they just pushed tightly into place?

These is Generic type B scabbard. (or Anton Wingan Solingen)
Most scabbard band was put in to scabbard in two parts form. And then these two parts was welded together.
