    SA rarity factor....

    Hi guys...
    Here's an unusual SA tm.
I don't have Mc's list on rarity. Maybe someone can give me an idea.
    Thanks in advance.

Tony...That one is a 7 on the McSARR. Very nice dagger by a hard to find maker! Congrats!

What a gorgeous piece -- a first-production example made for SA Group Westmark in late 1933-early 1934 by a seldom-seen cutler! One never sees a scabbard in such mint condition, almost as if it had never been worn. The grip wood has shrunk a bit over the decades, but nothing to be concerned about. A pristine piece like this should be in a museum somewhere!

"Enjoyment" is indeed the right word here. I always enjoy this awesome condition and the rarity is a nice extra bonus. TOP!

It is always a pleasure to view a wonderfully conditioned early SA dagger like this one.

Is the scabbard painted or anodized? I can't tell from the pics...

Maybe a 7 rating but I don't recall seeing that one recently .

                      Skyline.
The scabbard looks to be painted versus 'brunert' and lacquered.
