    Etched German Nazi Army Officers Sword ID Research needed

    Etched German Nazi Army Officers Sword ID Research needed I just purchased a very nice German Army Officers sword from the vets family member . The sword is named to a Martin Becker From Munchen, Germany Looks like he was in the 3 Komp Inf Regiment 61 . Can anyone help with his military history ?? See many attached pictures of this blade etching

              I can't help with the research on this particular person but can help on the Inf Regt.
              Inf Regt 61 was set up in Munich on Oct 15th 1935, it took part in the Anschluss of Austria, the invasion of the Sudentland and the Polish campaign. Good luck in trying to find out about that individual, it's a tough ask.

              What period is the sword? I cannot see any date in the blade etch.
