I decided to sell another gravity knife from my collection. To avoid future misunderstandings I'll be happy to know your opinion on this knife.

Gravity knife by Wyersberg - opinions welcome

I have yet to see on a mint condition period made Gravity Knife a brass lanyard retaining pin.
Also not seen such a poor Weyersberg logo on a mint blade, with black burnishing.
Not saying it's 'wrong', or because I haven't seen it, meaning it's fake. Just for me, it would need a closer 'hands-on' inspection.
Perhaps one of our Gravity Knife specialists will chime in soon. So, lets wait for other comments.
I do know that Czech-land repro 'Solingen' have been working hard to make these look 'good' to pass as originals (not saying this is one-I don't know).

Thanks, Serge. It's just a photo that makes it look like burnishing. I'll try to add another close up of the logo, but in reality it is not "pitch black" as some mottos on SA daggers (you know what I mean). The etching has some faults but I've seen such faults before on many originals - contrary to this the most fakes are razor sharp in detail.

The letters in the logo is accurate, but I feel concern about the tad to small LuftAmt 5... Is it just the upper part of the stamp?
Wonder,

The waffenamt on yours looks like "double" which is result of the way the hammer has hit the stamp, also one side is clearly deeper . I have absolutely no problem with that, but it may create impression of different angle. It is also not impossible that Germans used more than one stamp over the years.
