Opinions on SS dagger and hanger!

Hello all!

I was offered this SS dagger and hanger but I am not sure if it is a genuine. Blade looks ok to me but the hanger could be a fake, this are the only pictures I have at the moment, what do you think??

While we could do with better photos, at first glance I don't see anything setting off alarms, including the hanger. The grip certainly looks like wood to me. I can't find the M7/2 code in Wittmann's book which bothers me more than the hanger. Still the overall condition indicates uniform wear so I'll lean towards okay at least until some better photos are posted.

Well let me edit this as I just missed it on my first pass. The 1166/38 is for Emil Voos. I'm back to having a pretty good feeling again.

Like Larry says, I too don't see any great problems regarding originality in these photos.

Fisher lists M7/2 and RZM 1166/38SS as Emil Voos, Solingen.
