    Help with unknown hangers

    There was a similar pair listed here on the estand last year. The seller (who's name escapes me at the moment) believed they were some type of high level Government Official or Diplomat hangers. I suppose that could be true based on the gold & the hardware.

    My suspicion was that they were some type of high lever Feuerwehr hangers, considering the red backing on the straps. This is, of course, merely anecdotal, & on a gut feeling, although the hanger hardware would be different.

    I'll try to post pics of the earlier mentioned set later, if only to see if they're the same ones.

        Hi Klaus,

        I checked the pictures from January, 2015 & the areas of wear appear identical so I'd say they are the same hangers. If you'd like to see pics, I'll try to post when I'm home from the job.
