On the autobahn...Truck full of daggers???

Snapped a picture of the back end of this truck, while having some fun on the Autobahn last month!

Looks like they are still in business....
Now supplying corrugated cardboard and other packaging materials!
Had the TR survived, it could have been a truck full of daggers I guess!

A great photo, Nick -- many thanks for sharing it with us! No doubt that it's the same foundation, though the squirrel logo has lost it's sword! I believe the Eickhorn cutlery firm advertised a foundation date of 1865, so perhaps the cardboard and packaging materials branch -- apparently dating from 1855 -- is the way of the future?!

I read some years ago that even though Eickhorn went bankrupt in the 1970's that someone sold the logo more recently than that. Obviously they're in business now although any connection to the old firm of Carl Eickhorn remains to be seen.

yeah you are right...a mis-match after all...the logo got me confused...should have paid more attention to the spelling!
on the truck its partially covered...but the web site says it all! Not a match! The company on the truck is even older (zeit 1855)
so they adopted the squirrel logo rlier I assume!
