OPINIONS - SS etched bayonet

I have a chance to pick this up, but know very little about bayonets. I do know that the 32nd SS was formed in Dec '44 or Jan '45, and with war shortages going on, and this being a new unit that was thrown together, I can't see there being the normal unit pride and loyalty for a soldier to spend the resources to have a bayonet engraved. But, I'd like your opinion on it, please. If this does turn out to be original, what do you think it is worth? Thanks.

As a side note, the sheath is dated 1943; but I can't say for sure it is matched to the bayonet.

Well known fake etch on original bayo, originating from England in early 1970's.

They made them for all the SS divisions. All fake, and a lot of good bayo's were destroyed by these fakers back when bayo's were cheap and plentiful.
