Hello Forum Members,
First Off has any one seen a Hitler Youth mini ?
Before you get all skeptical, these fittings are made of Nickel Silver, not plated.
The dagger has had a porte pe' on it.
The motto fonts might not be the same, but I have seen this before in period correct mini's. And if you know anything about mini's you have too.
It was not made cheaply, but this does not mean anything.
I bought it many yeas ago, in a collection of mini's, all of them are good. I had this packed away and had not seen it since before 1996. And just ran across the whole collection.
Before I sell this collection, or this piece, I need other opinions and facts, not guess's. My customers deserve this and I would really appreciate your help.
Its overall length is 9.675 inches. The crossguard is just under 2.5 inches.The blade is 6 15/16 inches long.
I can answer any questions.

Hello GER,
Are you familar with mini's. They are seldom EXACT. Or at least to my knowledge. Like I have never seen a Heer Officer MINI with the high detail of some of my best regular size Heer Officer daggers. And the same with 1st and 2nd model Luftwaffe daggers.
The MOTTO is pictured.
I have a Luftwaffe 2nd Model Advertisment dagger with the same type of lettering as in the HJ leader motto.

Hi,It looks like the repro mini daggers that were made in Spain.There were HJ leaders,RAD Leaders Armys and 2nd mod lufts.These were around in quanity about 10 years ago.Jay Parisi

That triggers a memory. Years ago I looked at a couple of collections of mini's that from what I remember were most likely all postwar that could have been from Spain, but no one was really sure. Also vaguely remembering reports of a UK(?) dealer who had some mini's made up as gifts for his customers. FP

The UK thing is possible, I am up on all the Spanish pieces. I still have the catalogues and magazine ads. It is not from the Spanish group. still nothing with proof positive, one way or the other.
