some daggers I picked up recently

I picked up these three from the same source recently and I wanted to share them here. There are some interesting pieces here for sure.

For starters, let's start with the M7/95 RZM 1222/39 SS dagger in the group. The only other J. A. Schmidt & Söhne, Solingen dagger like this that I could find on the forum is located here:

The blade on this one is really something and with a nice dark motto. On the back of the handle there appears to be a "K" pressed into the wood. The hanger has the SS runes in a double circle impressed into the leather but it was hard to photograph (you can see it if you look closely however) and the metal clip is marked RZM M5/8 I believe.

Next is the SA transitional by M7/25 Wilhelm Wagner, Solingen-Merscheid complete with a hanger. The hanger looks to be marked M5c/9 on it, does that sound right?

the last piece is really interesting. The hanger has a very strange looking RZM mark on it, and the only other that I've seen like it was shown in this thread, but was with dark brown leather while mine appears to be either very dark brown or black itself:

it has legitimate age to it and I removed it from the dagger to photograph better for everybody since they appear to be so rare. It was interesting to see that the verdigris covered screws on the scabbard were perfectly indented into the inside of the leather hanger strap and the thing fits like a glove.

I guess my question would be about the scabbard, which has nickel-plated fittings, I believe in chrome. They are not magnetic like a later plated RZM type fitting. There is a lot of dust and grime built up around the edges so it appears this was done a VERY long time ago. Were chrome plating fittings period done? Interesting enough is that the dagger throat retains it's nickel finish and is untouched. The throat fits very nicely against the lower Mitte "Mi" stamped cross guard.

This is a Karl Malsch. Gusf. Sohn Steinbach Kr. Mein. produced piece, so maybe these traits would be contributed from the region of the dagger's production, since it wasn't a Solingen based product? Has anyone else seen anything like this?
