Original and relatively untouched K98 bayonet produced by Carl Eickhorn Solingen during late 1938.
Bayonet frog looks strange to me.

Bayonet itself and scabbard is almost mint condition,could the frog be postwar added Norwegian? It is located in Norway.

IMO bayonet frog looks like post WW2 product.

Does the scabbard have matching numbers? Nice if it does, I'd pass if it doesn't.

Normal S84/98 bayonet, for Mauser 98 system rifles, possible the blueing on any parts were reviwed, but hard to say from the pictures, frog is a repro with faked WaA on backside.b.r.Andy

Likewise of the same opinion the bayonet may have been period refurbished which is not unusual for that time period. With as was stated the frog postwar. FP
