Hi Everyone,
I acquired this bring back piece recently in IL.The scabbard is a later version per seller/collector.I'm new to the field and this forum and introduced to it by a good friend who is a luftwaffe expert. Please give me your opinion about this piece as I'm open to learn from the best in the field. thx

I agree: the blade appears to be a fake; can't tell about the grip from only one photo. If it is still possible for you to get your money back, I'd advise your pursuing that effort ASAP. Whatever you paid for this piece will not be returned to you when it's time to sell it.
