The knot appears recently added. Other than that, I see nothing unusual.

I'm looking on a larger screen now. Actually, the distortion on the etched makers mark is unusual in that it has so much missing, I'm curious what Danny & a few other KM aficionados will say about it.

All the fittings, pommel- grip- cross guard and scabbard are Eickhorn. Luneschloss was a very small producer of navy daggers who did not manufacture their own navy parts, but I would expect to see this one with their later maker mark fit with the generic fittings.
