      Looks like K98 bayonet produced in Germany for Wehrmacht - and then sold and reworked by Portugal.

        Still being discussed as to the intended customer - the sometimes 5 digit serial numbers and "Tr" markings seem to indicate somebody other than the German Army or Wehrmacht. With this one the first I've seen 1) reworked, 2) coming from Norway. FP

            Recalling a resemblance in markings to the reworked Romanian Vz. 24 and other bayonets etc. from there, that were suppled to them by its co-belligerent Germany. Could this be an example of some of the arms from that region that were postwar reworked? FP
