    HJ Bajonet fake or real?

    Ik have an Hj Bajonet but i can't tell for sure if its real.
    I made some pictures of it.

    Special attention goes to the backside, there is an strange thing there.
    The connection on the riffle is not visible on the other side of the bajonet (picture 3), only a metal connection which can not be pushed in (picture 1 & 2)

    Hi. I've never seen a press stud like that before and the handle looks messed with.

      That bayonet isn't an original HJ Gefolgschaft sidearm. The rivets & grip plates show obvious signs of tampering & the grip emblem isn't neatly inserted within the grip plate. Originals will show none of the rough or poorly finished signs as are present on this one.

      I think it's safe to say there are many more fake HJ bayonets out there than actual period examples. Sorry for the bad news.
