Prussian Seitengewehr M1929 with Polizei Beschaffungsamt acceptance mark K issued to Schutzpolizei Dienstort I located in the Prussian Regierungsbezirk of Arnsberg, Waffen Nr. 7. Identification according to the Prussian Police marking regulations of 1932. Polizei Dienstort I not necessarily located in the city of Arnsberg. Author Don Maus in his work "History Writ in Steel" suggests S. Ar. I indicates the Schupo command in Dortmund.

This bayonet was converted from original M1929 configuration after 1936 by shortening, removal of the clamshell and replacement of the Prussian state crest on grip with post 1936 national police eagle.
