Sword knot identification?

    Sword knot identification?

    Can someone please help me ID this knot. I was in a group of items that included a German dress bayonet and sword. I looks like a green color with a leather strap. The metal behind cloth appears to be gold in color. Thanks in advance.

      Looks like a Heer sword knot. I suspect the metal behind the cloth was originally silver & it acquired some patina with age.
